The seminar will look at the phenomenon of inner speech from a philosophical, a psychological and a cognitive neuroscience perspective. We will read and discuss literature on the topic and work on potential practical solutions to assess and experimentally manipulate the individual occurrence and experience of inner speech. Credits will be obtained via an active contribution to the literature discussion (e.g. moderating a discussion session or paper presentation) + a scientific writing task (e.g. mini-review of related topic).
