Is there a difference between progress in the (natural) sciences and in philosophy? What, if anything, does the lack of consensus among philosophers tell us about the extent to which there is progress in philosophy? In this course, we will consider and critically assess different accounts of what progress might amount to in the sciences and in philosophy.
