Due to modern advancements, traditional experimental paradigms can be translated into real-world scenarios. While this is a nascent field, the implications for the larger neuroscience community are tremendous. In this seminar, we will read seminal studies that have been conducted outside of laboratory settings. We will discuss the challenges and the interpretation of results from the perspective of the 4E-Cognition theoretical framework. Prerequisites: Students should have a thorough understanding of Neuroscience (Action & Cognition I & II) and a basic understanding of signal processing methods.
