"This seminar gives a broad overview of how sleep and dreams can be measured, understood and improved through the use of technology. In the first, introductory part, we repeat the basics of sleep and dream research - sleep physiology, dream theories, sleep disorders, etc. - so that we all have a solid knowledge base. We then focus on established sleep and dream technologies that were invented decades ago but are still relevant - polysomnographic sleep laboratory measurements, actigraphy etc. In the third part we learn about new, cutting edge technologies for sleep and dreaming - smart mattresses, interactive dreaming, dream recording etc. In the last, more creative part, we dedicate ourselves to the sleep and dreams of the future - what could be possible one day and how?" Starting Friday 4.1.22. 14:00-18:00 Uhr Sa/So 26./27.11. 09:00- 17:00 Uhr plus Projektarbeit Voraussetzungen: ab 3. Sem. CogSci, Grundlagen der Neurobiopsychologie sollten vorhanden sein
